Trainings taking place all over Albania with youths.

Our mapping of offered services in Albania keeps expanding month by month. In our training program, we try to reach as many youth as we can, especially those in remote areas. Recently the Youth Project has been in Dajç, a small village between Lezha, Shkodra and Velipoja. It was our first time in the community center high school Luce Agraja and we were fascinated by the commitment of the students there. The training topic was related to awareness of social media uses and preventing online trafficking. This theme is a hot topic for teenagers in Albania and all over the world. From area to area and group to group, there are different levels of experience and awareness about social media’s role in human trafficking and how to prevent it.

There was one particularly dynamic session that we had in Elbasan with around 40 students of different grade levels. They were very aware of the uses of social media profiles and their understanding of the internet world was very amazing and professional. This was very helpful for our training but also shows the high risk they are in. This session helped them to be responsible and safe with their information and understand and prevent the negative side effects of overusing social media.
