MARY WARD LORETO is planting hope with a human rights approach to combating modern day slavery. This challenging mission is implemented through works of justice, education, grass roots action and systemic change.
The aim is to eradicate poverty, the prime cause for human trafficking.

It is more than a craft: It is a story of women’s empowerment!

20 Albanian women and girls from Tropoja prepare handmade products at the Mary Ward Loreto Centre and in their homes.

We are happy to announce the opening of the Mary Ward Loreto Souvenir Shop in Valbona for the tourist season as a great opportunity for the women to sell their products. These women are from the most vulnerable and isolated regions of Albania. Through their economic empowerment, they are no longer at risk of human trafficking and exploitation. They are changing their lives and the lives of their families.

To their friends, they are a symbol of hope.

Thank you for being a part of it.
