Innovation in Rural Tourism – An Opportunity for local development. Business and product development workshop.

The development of tourism in Tropoja is the best opportunity for economic growth. MWL Foundation is making this a priority by increasing the capacities of the communities to help develop the tourism industry.

MWL and 5 of the women involved in business initiatives, participated in a workshop developed by the “Toka” organization at Bajram Curri. The trainer, Tobi Glasser, from Switzerland brought his experience of setting up a business and led the participants towards “Innovation in Rural Tourism – An Opportunity for local development.” Success stories of the development of rural tourism in Albania were shared, giving the women a positive outlook on the development potential for their areas for sustainable tourism. In the last part of the workshop, all the participants wrote business plans for their business ideas, based on the points taught in the training.

Increasing the capacities and developing the potential of our beneficiaries is key for a bright view of their future and self-confidence.
