Human Trafficking

MARY WARD LORETO is planting hope with a human rights approach to combating modern day slavery. This challenging mission is implemented through works of justice, education, grass roots action and systemic change.
The aim is to eradicate poverty, the prime cause for human trafficking.

Community Development programmes:

  • Community organizing via broad-based methodology
  • PACA tools and leadership programmes for young people
  • Service learning methodology: A form of experiential education where learning occurs through a cycle of action and reflection as students seek to achieve real objectives for the community and deeper understanding and skills for themselves.
  • Economic awareness and empowerment via simulative, encouraging, aiding and assisting the targeted communities in improving their standards of living.
  • Coaching and advising for rural development coming from the rural people themselves.
