MARY WARD LORETO is planting hope with a human rights approach to combating modern day slavery. This challenging mission is implemented through works of justice, education, grass roots action and systemic change.
The aim is to eradicate poverty, the prime cause for human trafficking.

Investigating and Prosecuting Human Trafficking: International Perspectives

Mary Ward Loreto (MWL) was invited to attend the Medaille Trust International Conference 2016, ‘’Investigating and Prosecuting Human Trafficking, International Perspectives’’. It is already the third year that we attend international conferences by Medaille Trust, due to the strong partnership between the two NGO-s.

The conference was held in Bled, Slovenia on July 19th – 21st, 2016. The MWL Women Assistant Manager, Irena Kraja, attended the conference. Part of the Albanian delegates, were the representatives of ‘Different and Equal’ and Albanian State Police. Please click here to read the full report...
