MARY WARD LORETO is planting hope with a human rights approach to combating modern day slavery. This challenging mission is implemented through works of justice, education, grass roots action and systemic change. The aim is to eradicate poverty, the prime cause for human trafficking.

This event was organized on 21st of October. It was mainly based on three parallel workshops. The NGO representatives were divided into three groups to discuss a special topic and after to present and share with all the participants their thoughts on the issue. Workshop 1. – Children as high risk group of trafficking: This group focused mainly on unaccompanied children as well as on the child refugee crisis. This group shared the concerns on false adoption of children and for children involved in forced labour and domestic servitude.
