In every step of our life we question ourselves about our financial situation. Some people dedicate their lives to this work and try to learn everything about finance and they love it. For some others finance is only about numbers and complicated issues and they hate dealing with accounting.
We in the financial department, work and see how everything moves in the Mary Ward Loreto Foundation.
We all need people to give us feedback. That’s how we improve.
Last month we had an Audit. The Auditor undertook some checks such as: reports and costs reported to the donors, costs made in accordance with the project document and the project budgets with explanation of deviations; validation of costs and the need for supported and adequate documentation. The audit check of MWL foundation has followed the Albanian law and International Accounting Standards.
We successfully finished the audit and accounting for another year at Mary Ward Loreto Foundation in Albania.
Logistics Manager collaborates with staff and third parties.
The logistics team works to ensure excellent implementation of the activities of Mary Ward Loreto. It consists of four people with a variety of job descriptions which include management of MWL logistics in the field all over Albania, where the action is taking place, driving, finance and buildings in the field of action, cooking and cleaning.
Logistics staff has updated the inventory according to the MWL regulation.
We have also shown a very special care in car maintenance because this is a key factor for the realization and safety of staff in their movements.
Also a very important part is the cleaning of offices and cooking. This has always been at the highest level of excellence. It is an example to all of us in our work and to others who visit us.
Logistics staff have paid special attention to the support of colleagues in other cities of Albania where they operate. There were many trainings and meetings with the staff of MWL who were successfully supported by the logistics staff. Plans are made for successful journeys to these trainings and for other field work through each week. Photos are taken, snacks prepared and attention to emergency need taken care of at every moment of the action.
